Surisan is the latest restaurant from the owners of San Francisco’s most popular brunch spots - Sweet Maple, Blackwood American Thai Fusion and Kitchen Story. Named after a mountain in Korea, Surisan is open for breakfast, brunch and dinner. A contemporary and welcoming space offers plenty of outdoor and indoor seating.
Located in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf, Surisan is attracting as many locals as it is tourists. And Yelpers are raving about the modern Asian-fusion cuisine created by Nick Soon, a five-star chef from one of Korea’s top hotels. 5-Star reviews praise the amazing food, generous portions, beautiful presentation and outstanding service.
Highlights from the breakfast menu include specialty benedicts with a variety of toppings including KFC (Korean friend chicken), smoked salmon or Dungeness crab. Prefer something on the sweeter side? Thick cut free-range bacon is baked with brown sugar, cayenne, red and black pepper creating a perfect blend of salty and sweet with a kick of spice.
Favorite brunch offerings include a Pajun Pancake (a Korean-style pancake with shrimp, bacon, scallion, onion bell pepper and jalapenos) as well as traditional lunch entrees like a Wagu cheeseburger and Dungeness crab salad. Brunch wouldn’t be complete without a Bloody Soju Mary or a grapefruit mimosa.
