It was very informative and we got very close.
Absolutely loved it! And so did our friend the seagull! He rode the whole trip with us.
Great tour, would recommend!
Experience was great and I proposed to my girlfriend right on the boat near the Golden Gate Bridge. Recommend for anyone to enjoy a piece of San Fransisco. Warm Regards, Tony
We really enjoy, thanks !
We very much enjoyed our cruise around the bay . The narration in both English and Spanish was informative. We got on quickly with no lines.
Easy to book online, easy to locate, staff helpful, trip worthwhile and informative.
Great tour at a great price. The audio narration is very informative and works well (individual headphones, you can choose your preferred language). Be there at least 30 minutes before departure to choose a good seat.
The Bay Cruise was very good. The cruise was exactly as advertised. The only pity was an act of god which put the golden gate bridge in total fog. When underneath it there was no sign of it. The cruise past Alcatraz island was very good and at least you could see it. The main take of the day, that day, was take a jumper or light jacket because the ocean breeze was very cold despite it being warm near the pier and the start of summer.
Great tour, beautiful scenery, friendly staff!
Great boat trip around the bay and viewing super sights. Headset and narration helpful. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Great value for experience.
The cruise was great! Perfect route to see both the Golden gate Bridge and Alcatraz.
Really enjoyed the Bay Cruise of the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. The audio was very informing not only about the Bridge and Alcatraz but areas surrounding.
We fully enjoyed our city tour and the boat ride around Alcatraz Island. Our tour guide and bus driver Adolfo was very informative and entertaining. He gave us many wonderful photo op memories and was very kind with helping a senior on and off the bus. Thank you once again.
Greatin cruise, worth the money. Employees very courteous on telephone and ticket booth. Would recommend tour to anyone.
It was a great tour.
Great for the price
Great to see the city from the Bay view. And to see the back of Alcatraz. My listening device was not the best.
The tour does not take you to the island but offers a great view to the city. San Francisco must be experienced from that point of view as well.
Lovely tour around the Harbour very informative. Shame that the Ferry crew were unfriendly and somewhat officious!!
Great value for the price we paid! Good narration in the language of our choosing. We couldn't get Alcatraz tickets for the tour, so this was the next best thing. It was fun going under the Golden Gate Bridge!
Excellent tour. Staff were great. Only had a few problems. 1). Whilst queuing up to board, there was a lot of homeless people harassing everyone for cigarettes & money. This has to be addressed by San Francisco themselves but more could be done to protect tourists from these people. 2). The free audio pack that you are given out before departing is very good . . Well, take my wife's word on that as mine ran out of charge halfway through the cruise. All in all an excellent cruise, very good views.

As you head west towards the Golden Gate Bridge, you sail around the now-defunct military base of Fort Mason and along the affluent Marina District that was devastated in the 1989 earthquake. Next, enjoy views of Crissy Field and the lush hillsides of the Presidio, both former army installation, that are now part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Don’t miss breath-taking photo opportunities when sailing directly under the massive span of the Golden Gate Bridge. You will love this view!
As you steam back into the Bay, you travel past the wildlife reserves of the Marin Headlands and the legendary town of Sausalito, once home to the 1960s’ flower generation. With Angel Island State Park to your left, you slowly cruise around the infamous Island of Alcatraz, once a Federal Penitentiary that housed the worst criminals in the country. On your way back to Fisherman’s Wharf, you see San Francisco’s second signature bridge, the Oakland Bay Bridge, as well as the newly renovated Ferry Terminal on Market Street, and Coit Tower. After a full hour of exciting sights, the barking sea lions at PIER 39 welcome you back to land, where you can visit two National Historic Landmarks, the WWII submarine USS Pampanito and merchant vessel USS Jeremiah O’Brien.
