NORMA, ANNABEL, VIRG, Aug 28, 2016

Excellent tour thanks to our tour guide "George", maybe a bit too long, too much driving but it was worth it.

We didn't have a car and wanted to go to Monterey and Carmel. Found this tour in one of the guide books. Patrick was very knowledgeable in the history. Stopped and gave up plenty of photo opportunities. I would recommend the tour company

Craig, Illawong, New South Wales, AU, Jun 11, 2016

Very good day .Patrick the driver from Tower Tours was excellent.

The tour , although very long. ... 8 am pickup to 8:30 drop-off... was very very professionally done... the dtour guide and driver was well acquAinted with both the history and the natural enviornment all the ay along the drive.... At each stop, ample time w given for photos, relaxations or refreshments.... it was worth evey penny and more!

An ideal way to spend a day especially if you are a solo traveller. A comfortable coach, a very-well-informed & entertaining driver, superb coastline, well-thought-out route and stops. The Aquarium at Monterey was the icing on the cake - amazing! I would advise anyone particularly interested in the aquarium to take a picnic lunch to eat on the coach then the hour-&-a-half in Monterey would be long enough. I personally wasn't interested in the golf course but there was an interesting shop and it sold take-away coffee which was allowed on the coach, and it had clean loos. The steep walk to the beach in Carmel was just what I needed in the middle of a day spent sitting down, and it was an unexpectedly lovely little town.

Hi, we give your tour company a 5-star rating as the whole experience was wonderful. We were among 3 groups from Australia and it was seamless from start to finished. Well done guys....

PATRICIA, Oct 13, 2014

We booked the tour to Monterrey (including the aquarium visit) and Carmel during September and found Tower Tours to be a very professional company. This was one of several tours we took during our vacation in San Francisco and Larry, our driver and tour guide on this trip, was definitely the best of the lot. From the moment the bus pulled out, he informed and he entertained us until we arrived back in San Fran. Although we were a small tour that day (13 people), he put 150% effort into ensuring that we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. We stopped for a break at a café on the way down and then in Monterrey some people visited the aquarium which was an optional part of the tour. This was very worthwhile as it has an amazing selection of fish and sealife that we never knew existed. The only downside to having visited the aquarium was that we had little or no time afterwards to see Monterrey itself before hitting the road again. We travelled the very famous and scenic 17-Mile-Drive and visited Pebble Beach before finally reaching Carmel. It is a very exclusive and picturesque town and well worth a visit. On the way, Larry passed along books and showed films relating to the places we had visited and this was a novel idea and helped to pass the drive between stops. Overall this was a very enjoyable trip and if you get Larry, rest assured that you are in for a memorable and fun day!
