For two fragrant weeks, the annual Macy's Flower Show turns the main floor of the Union Square landmark into a blooming garden. Step right Up! This year's theme, “Carnival” promises to be a quirky celebration of the iconic American Carnival. Guests will enjoy the nostalgic delights of early 20th century fairs from Macy's Union Sqaure Transformed into a Blooming gardencandied foods to the romance of old carousels.

In addition to the flower extravaganza, free events on the program include orchestral music from Wurlitzer organs, floral arranging demonstrations, fashion shows, garden table setting workshops, cooking demonstrations and more.
When the plants used to set off the beauty of Macy's flowers have finished their job, they're off to a plant sale for the public. Select plants and flowers will be available for sale at 1200 17th Street in San Francisco on Monday, April 10, starting at 9am. All proceeds will benefit the Delancey Street Foundation.
The San Francisco Union Square store is one of three locations coast-to-coast to carry on the much-loved spring flower show tradition launched more than 40 years ago in New York City's Herald Square store. Macy’s Flower Show is free for the public to enjoy during regular store opening hours (10am to 9pm daily, except 11am to 7pm on Sundays).
