Driver was very nice, only complaint would be it was hard to hear him making jokes while he was driving since there is no PA system or anything. The group we were with was very fun, which also made the trip great. All the vineyards were beautiful and delicious, but I do wish we had more time to spend at each. The breakfast wasn't anything to write home about (crackers, croissants, cream cheese, jelly, apples, pretty basic) but the mimosas were a cute touch. The first two vineyards were pretty rushed (45min time cap). I would have Loved to spend more time at the first. They had a huge wine list and a seperate oil press tasting area, which we didn't get to sample much of with the time restraint. The grounds were stunning, if I could have grabbed a glass of wine and wandered around, I would have. When I booked, it sounded like it would last from about 8:30AM-9PM (which I'll admit, seemed excessive), but we really left SF around 9AM and got back to union square around 3PM. All in all, I would recommend the tour as an easy way to get around with a DD and meet some new friendly people. But next time, I might pick a long tour that sees less vineyards so there's more time to enjoy at each.

Thanks for taking the tour and for your review. We followed up with the tour operator and were told that the bus typically arrives back in San Francisco between 4pm and 5pm, depending on traffic. Because traffic was lighter than expected, your bus returned to Union Square at 3:50pm

A really enjoyable day visiting beautiful vineyards and sampling a great selection of fine wines. Our tour guide and driver, Keith, added to this special day with humor and warmth. Everything was provided, including a high quality picnic lunch and plenty of water throughout the day. We're very happy to recommend it to others.

Great tour, with a friendly guide (Abe). The limobus is way more comfy and cool than a standard bus, and allows better interactions with other participants. The picnic lunch was basic (sandwich and chips... but very good stuffed vine leaves "tolma"), I was expecting something more in phase with the experience and the region. I liked a lot the first vineyard (Jacuzzi), the others were good but not as much "typical".

I already experienced the service of this company 4 years ago and really enjoyed them. I wanted to do the tour with my Fiance this time and wanted a quality tour with no bad surprise. So I booked the same Limo tour from the tour agent. Driver was very nice and made the trip fun. The Limo bus is just amazing, spacious and comfortable. We did visit 4 wineries as planned. All were different in terms of wine production and wine tasting offers. Some of them had a side business such as olive oil production which made us discover something beside wine on that day. There is really no issue sharing a wine tasting. We did it in one winery at the end of the tour and no one looked at us strange.

Our tour guide Abe was excellent, I don't think we would have enjoyed the tour as much as we did without him being there. Really made the experience feel one of a kind. All the wineries were fantastic, we would certainly do it all again.

Wow, This tour was amazing with tasty wines and good explanations by wineries. The best thing of this tour was the bus driver Keath(I am not sure if i spelled well). He made our day. He guided us with cheerful and warm mood. With him all of tourists from different countries united, sang songs and had great conversations. I was happy to see Keath and all of tourists miss him so much!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on this tour. The bus driver, the wineries, and the food were all fantastic. My only complaint is that a few other members on the tour got a little out of hand, which frustrated the winery staff. Because of this, I don't believe we got to see and learn as much as we would have otherwise. They did however make the limo bus drive entertaining. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour.

This wine country by Limobus with Abe as our driving was the best Wine tour in Napa and Sonoma you can go on, we took another tour company out to Napa castle tour and Muir woods, same company, it picks you up at the ferry building. This tour blew then out of the water. Abe was awesome and made the tour so much fun but yet took us to great wineries and got most of them free tasting for us. I could see the people that ran all the wineries we went too, respected and liked Abe. The lunch was the best, by far the best tour we ever been on and this was our third time in San Francisco. You get your money's worth with this tour and Abe as your driver and guide.

Great make your own sandwich lunch. The wine samples were generous and we only had to pay for the samples at one winery. Limobus was very fun ride with mimosas at the overlook for the Golden Gate Bridge and snacks on bus. I wouldn't change a thing and I highly recommend this company!

This is so worth the time and money. Even our 14-year-old daughter had a good time. Abe made the trip entertaining, and served lunch. We saw beautiful countryside from a black and chrome limobus, all the while eating snacks and drinking mimosas (not the 14-year-old, she took advantage of the water bottles supplied as well). The wineries were great, and tasting fees at only one. I also found truffle oil at the Olive Press and tasted some great oils there as well. As a vegetarian I was worried about lunch, but the falafel was wonderful, as were the sandwiches, hummus, and other goodies. Abe told us at the beginning that we would be friends by the end, and he was right. We met wonderful people and had a fabulous time. It's not just for the hipsters or retired people. Everyone had fun!

This was the most amazing value for money that my husband and I spent our entire vacation. Keith, our host was was accommodating and had a wonderful sense of humour. The wineries were beautiful and tastings were either free or $5/$10 (most of which were $5 with our group discount.) The bus got a little crazy near the end with out group - which I was told wasn't the norm. It was hilarious to watch the mid-aisle dance-off on the way back to the city. May have been partly due to the young nature of this particular crowd. A 21 year old birthday and 25 year old birthday were on the bus. But even the older people got up dancing near the end when people starting streaming music into the sound system with their phones (otherwise no music would have been on the bus.) The food was also phenomenal. The mimosa breakfast included a generous mimosa, bagels, cream cheese, jam, croissants, cheese platter and fresh fruit. Lunch was a very large sandwich you could fill with a large selection of cheeses and meats, hummus, and falafel. There was also pasta salad, olives, caprese salad, and chocolate dipped strawberries for dessert. It went above and beyond our expectations. Absolutely fabulous. What a wonderful way to spend the day!

The driver was wonderfully pleasant. When i originally booked i was under the impression we would be in Napa for the most part wine tasting but looks like we were in Sonoma. I hoped we could of had more time in the wineries, seemed a bit rushed. But overall it was good.

This was great. Got to meet lots of people. The bus was awesome. The driver was so nice and entertaining also. He made it fun. Great way to get to Napa and Sonoma valley. Using the limobus allowed us to taste wines and not worry about driving. All wineries treated us extra special. The lunch and continental breakfast on the limobus was very good. We will do this again on our next trip.

I would recommend this tour to anyone and everyone. The accommodation were great. Keith who was the driver and guide was wonderful and knowledgeable, he added onto the experience. For the price of this tour and what is included was 100% worth it. The only thing I would suggest is that the guest would know upfront which vineyards will be visited so that we can research them and determine where we would like to purchase items from. I say this because I ended up like the first winery but didn't get anything because I didn't know what to expect in the others to come.
    Response from the Team
Thanks for the feedback Stephanie, We'll be sure to share that with the tour operator. The exact itinerary isn't always known ahead of time. Sometimes group size, traffic or tasting room availability influence where the driver is able to stop.

We were a little taken aback when asked to pay an additional fee at one of them although the ad did say that might happen - in very small print - which we discovered after the trip. Food was lovely and plentiful. Good experience overall.

Hi Lynn, Thanks for your review. Just to clarify, most wine tasting fees are included with this tour. If time permits, the guide may stop at an additional winery where fees would apply but tasting is optional.

We have a blast, even though my son and daughter-in-law are not alcoholic drinkers - they loved the olive oil/cheese/fudge tastings and pasta sauce tasting. We went to Jacuzzi, McDonna and one other winery (I forgot the name of the last one), in my opinion Jacuzzi was the best out of the three. There were so many tours to choose from, so I am thankful that my friends and I picked the right one! We had so much fun! This tour is absolutely perfect! The limo bus was awesome! It felt like a chic party bus in the day with not too many people at all. We started right on time in San Francisco and made our way over for a photo op right as we passed the Golden Gate Bridge. Our driver was hilarious so that also added a special touch to our trip. We started our journey to Sonoma with a complimentary glass of mimosa and delicious breakfast. We stopped at two Sonoma wineries, which was great, then headed over to Napa where not only did we go to two more wineries, but we stopped for some yummy local treats as well at a sort of market. At our third winery we paused for lunch, which was the wine we've had all day. The wineries we visited were friendly, clean, and very knowledgeable. I honestly felt like an expert by the end of the day. Also the hidden treats that we get to eat as well were great such as: olive oil tasting, cheese tasting, gelato tasting, and various complimentary jams. Overall this was an excellent tour and you definitely get the most out of your money! Totally worth it to do again, and I would recommend it to everyone.

Really enjoyed the tour. The lunch was surprisingly good, and the bus driver/tour guide Keith was a real great guy, enjoyed his job and meeting people, and took care of any needs we had, and was also really knowledgeable. Would recommend to anyone. Only suggestion would be to return to Sonoma on your own. Only had an hour and a half in what looked like a cute little town.

This was a very nice tour, esp the stop at Roche Winery in Sonoma.

My friend and I did the 3-Day Walk for Breast Cancer in San Francisco this year, so I had really hoped to get up to Wine Country while we were out here. I was very pleased with the experience. Abe was wonderful!! The planning to the 4 winery's was not so great. We were rushed through the first two stops and couldn't get photos and the wine tasting both done. We took photos at one and tasted wine at the other! Then at the last one we were sitting around waiting to leave! Other than that everything was great - Lunch was very nice too.....
    Response from the Team
The timing can be tricky with wine tasting and a lot goes on behind the scenes to provide a great tour experience. Some days the wineries may be crowded or traffic delays cause the bus to arrive late to the appointment. In these situations the winery may need to move the group through quickly. Other times the bus drivers have tight windows to get the group to the next winery appointment so they push the group along. Thanks for the feedback.

A fantastic day! The highlight of our trip to San Francisco! Keith, our chaperone for the day was well experienced and knowledgeable of the area and his choice of vineyards. He was also really friendly and personable, which added to our enjoyable experience. We will definitely be recommending this tour to all our friends.

If you're looking for a party, the Limobus is it!! We stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge, 4 Vineyards and Sonoma Square. The tour guide was hilarious and the lunch was very good. The only thing I would change about the tour is to make it a little longer because we felt rushed all morning until the last stop where we had too much time. All in all... 2 thumbs up!

The tour was fantastic. Our chaffeur, Abe, was knowledgeable, witty, and interesting, and our whole family had a great time. We saw beautiful scenery, met interesting folks, and sampled some wonderful wines. I will recommend you to everyone I know. Freddy Clayton

We're glad we chose the limo bus. The only negative was the weather which was drizzle and fog - not your fault. The driver really engaged the group and provided plenty of laughs while still being professional. From the ad we thought lunch was provided by one of the wineries in a dining room- or picnic table weather permitting. (We're from Alberta and many of the wineries in neighboring British Columbia have sensational restaurants, so that might have been an assumption). Lunch was OK, but could be stepped up a notch. Plenty of caterers and good food in California. Having an interesting and fun group added to our enjoyment and completed our trip to San Francisco.

I had a great time on the limobus. Our driver, Abe, was very entertaining. He was able to get appointments with four different wineries. I enjoyed the breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided. The day was a little long and by the time we reached the last winery, I was exhausted. I would recommend this tour to first time or seasoned wine tasters. It is a classy tour at an affordable price.

Great driver made the trip a lot of fun, good to stop at for photos of bridge. Food good nice to get on early morning and have breakfast. Lunch was fine and as at winery could have a drink with it. Would have liked a bit more time at wineries to relax and would forget about cheese and fudge as part of a busy shop, time better spent else where. The only problem we had was the air con in the bus broke down, so we got a replacement bus, but meant a long day with the wait for it to arrive (we were at the cheese and fudge place).

Location for pick up and limo bus were great. Breakfast was ok but I needed coffee. Loved going over the Golden Gate and selection of wineries. Lunch was fun and appropriate to the trip. Best feature was our guide and his sense of humor.

Our guide gave us great information and took us to places where the tasting wasn't expensive which was appreciated. Photo of view while sitting in shade at beautiful vineyard.

It was fun and convienent. the driver was hilarious, and people were cool. amazing wineries. big downside to the tour was alot of time was wasted. we rushed the first two wineries(the best ones) and stayed at the other two for way too long. unexpected stops, which wasted time. we could have got back way earlier, especially if we weren't going to a fifth winery. everybody fell asleep on the way back, that was a bummer. only plus to the trip was we didn't have to drive anywhere.
    Response from the Team
Hi Jacob, Thanks for your feedback. During peak season the wineries are often heavily booked and may need to move groups through at a brisk pace. Timing the winery stops is not a perfect science. The schedule can vary depending on traffic and how busy the wineries are on a given day. This may explain why you were kept at some wineries longer; the next stop may not have been ready for your group. The full-day wine tour is 8 hours and that's what most guests are expecting. There is a half-day tour available on our website for those looking for a shorter tour.

We really enjoyed this tour. The bus driver was great, really accommodating and informative. The time they give you at each of the winery's is just right to enjoy the tasting, make any wine purchases and walk around and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I would definitely recommend this tour to first time visitors to the area.

My traveling companion and I were very pleased that we chose this tour from among the many offerings we found on the Internet. The wineries we visited were great, our driver was very friendly and accommodating, and the picnic lunch that he prepared for us far exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this tour -- it's well worth the price!

Old Vines, new friends. I was by myself in San Fran and took the Limobus tour. I think 10 people on the tour, it was great. Mimoso's, bagels and cream cheese in the morning. Wonderful tours of several wineries. Small but super wineries that don't have national distribution, beautiful and intimate settings. Then lunch outside next to a vineyard. The group became good friends and all had fun. Highly recommended. Kerry From Austin , TX
