The world-famous story of AsiaSF began 16 years ago when San Francisco’s hottest dinner show and nightclub combo was born, and it hasn’t slowed down for a moment since. Step through the entrance into a sleek and alluring red and black dazzling interior and another world unfolds. The party atmosphere is a centerpiece of San Francisco nightlife, promising to deliver “the time of your life.”
Using the shiny long bar as a runway, the Ladies of AsiaSF put on two professionally choreographed shows with an intermission, while diners enjoying being served selections from the signature CalAsian menu. Diners are suggested to leave any inhibitions at the door, because these stunning ladies in fancy costumes (with an emphasis on beautiful) who double as servers and performers are actually gender illusionists. The energy runs high, the food and drink is great and the evening is just the right mix of naughty and nice, open to all ages but reserved for 21-plus at the late night weekend shows.
Some things are even more fun with a crowd. Book up to 15 guests dining together for the one-hour-forty-five-minute dinner show. How about some Wasabi Tobiko caviar, anyone? The Gold, Platinum and Diamond dinner packages mean you can make delicious menu selections to share from the à la carte menu. Consider the popular Tamarind chicken satays, blackened tuna sashimi, orange lamb sirloin, baby bok choy and shitakes, tender baby-back pork ribs, grilled shrimp with Thai vinaigrette, soba noodles with Portobello mushroom and miso glazed salmon. Veggie and special dietary requirements are catered to as well. Save room for at least two desserts...why not make that three on the diamond deal!
Go for the world famous AsiaSF Cosmopolitan, perhaps? WIth names to salute the Ladies of AsiaSF like Lucy’s Vanilla Blush, Ginger’s Appletini, Brandy’s Gin Blossom, Trina’s Pussycat and Jasmine’s Tarantula on a long cocktail menu, the biggest problem is choosing your preferred libation.
AsiaSF suggests dancing after dinner without leaving the building. All weekend dinner show reservations include entry to the adult-only downstairs dance club lounge. Just follow the red fiber optic lights to another club level where the party continues until 2 a.m. every Friday and Saturday night. It’s a cool space with a hot DJ where lights and mirrors dazzle while the floor pulsates and the beat goes on.
The locals, the regulars, the newcomers and the critics are fans. San Francisco Chronicle says AsiaSF has “Great food...unique entertainment...sexy, flashy, fun.” Bon Appétit says it’s “the hottest reservation in town.” InStyle applauds “one of the best 50 drinking spots from coast to coast.” And KRON4-TV asks, “Why just eat when you can feast all your senses!” Indeed!
